Bailey is the creative force in innovative pottery equipment.

Bailey CLAY MIXER PUGMILLS offers so much more!
You get the most efficient clay mixer and a dedicated pugmill function in one unit.

Compare Bailey Mixer Pugmills to a traditional clay mixer.  Just check out these facts.

Fact 1:  Both the Bailey MSV and MXP Series are dedicated clay mixers that give you a way to process your clay without generating as much dust. The clay mixing chamber on the Bailey Clay Mixer Pugmills seals in all the dust during the mixing cycle.

Fact 2:  Compared to traditional clay mixers, the Bailey MXP and MSV Series eliminate all the backbreaking effort to dig out the clay. The Baileys are "self emptying" clay mixers.  It doesn't get any easier than that! You don't have to lift a finger, the machine does all the work.

Fact 3:  A traditional clay mixer only mixes.  After you have had to dig out the clay from a traditional clay mixer, you then have to either laboriously hand wedge the clay or spend

considerable time to run it through a separate pugmill.  The Bailey MSV and MXP Clay Mixer Pugmills do all these steps in one seamless integrated process without all the back breaking effort.

Fact 4:  A traditional clay mixer can't grind up recycled dry clay.  Consequently,  you are forced to slake the reclaim clay in buckets which makes a mess and takes up valuable studio space.  With the Bailey Clay Mixer Pugmills, you eliminate all the slake buckets.  All your dry clay goes directly into the clay mixer section of the barrel.  Imagine turning all your dry scraps into beautifully blended de-aired clay, ready for throwing, in less then 20  minutes!  Think about how clean your studio will look and how much time you will save.

Bailey has expanded our line of clay mixer pugmills in insure there is a model perfectly suited for the every level of output requirements. Check out the outstanding features and output capacities of the new MSV Series and the upgraded MXP.

“The MXP100 is great! I load it up with all forms of scrap, set it to mix, and walk away. 10 minutes later I'm ready to pug. The twin-auger design does a fantastic job blending. This is worlds away from the time consuming process of our old mixer pugmill. Now I have more time for my students and recycling is a breeze. You can't do better than the Bailey.”

“The MXP mixer-pugmill is way more than I expected! The mixing abilities of this machine are beyond anything I could have imagined. I put every kind of dry or soft scrap into the Bailey mixer pugmill and my reclaim is immediately turned into another perfect batch of de-aired clay.
You won’t find any lumps, air pockets or hard spots. The clay is perfect, batch after batch. It takes no time to load. You just start it and walk away. Now I have more time to help my students with their projects. I thank Bailey for engineering such a super machine.”
NEW! The incredible MSV-25 mixer pugmill. It's the perfect studio model. Mix, recycle, pug and extrude both tiles and vertical shapes! Bailey innovation at work.

“We couldn't do it without you! Bailey equipment is an important part of the creative experience at Walton Arts Center's Nadine Baum Studios. Every week our Bailey pugmill saves us money by recycling and the making of our own paper clay. This year over 350 adults and young people created in clay during studio classes and workshops. We appreciate the quality of your products.”
