Pacifica Wheels feature a sturdy steel
frame, heavy-duty one piece table tops and an easy-to-clean 2-piece splash
pan. The four belt drive system operates at a 12:1 reduction to deliver
maximum torque at the wheelhead where it counts. As a result, the GT-400’s
1/4 HP motor develops 1/2 HP at the wheelhead while the GT-800’s 1/2 HP
motor develops 1 HP at the wheelhead. In addition, Pacifica’s load
sensor increases drive current in exact proportion to the pressure applied
to the clay producing steady torque at all speeds. Both models have
aluminum wheelheads, large stable tables, built-in silencing and
convenient reversing switches.
