Speedball Student Wheels
Designed with entry-level
students, hobbyists and artists in mind, Speedball now makes two
“Student Model” wheels: the Clay Boss and the Big Boss.
Both feature a sturdy compact steel table & frame, variable speed
electronic control with foot pedal, a reversing plug, Speedball’s 14"
wheelhead (plastic over steel construction) and a full surround 2-piece
splash pan (included). The smaller size
is perfect for small studio spaces and ships conveniently by UPS and RPS.

Artista Wheel
The Artista wheel is a compact, tabletop potter's wheel. With a 25 pound
centering capacity, it features an 11" wheel head, a variable speed
hand control and a removable splash pan. This 28 lb. portable wheel is
perfect for the beginner who wants to take their wheel to and from pottery
class. Optional accessories can be added to convert the Artista into a
more traditional free-standing wheel including a variable speed foot pedal
and either ‘static’ or ‘folding’ legs (images & prices below).
Ideal for any classroom with limited space. 2 year warranty.

Grinding
Disks
An easy, economical way to smooth the bottoms of your
pots using a machine you already have - your wheel! 12” diameter
Silicon Carbide discs with a peel-off adhesive backing. Affix to
any 12” bat and attach to your wheelhead. All grinding is done
using the fastest wheel speed: a mask should be worn when
grinding. Available in 50-grit to remove material
fastest (including small glaze drips) and 80-grit for a
smooth finish. The discs can be used with or without water on the
grinding surface. |

The Cink
A
Complete Clay Filtering & Water Recycling System.
Portability (on wheels) allows you to move The Cink to any location you
choose in the studio or classroom. The Cink captures 99% of the clay for
re-use or easy disposal. The Cink can collect all the clay you can dump
into it and puts absolutely nothing down your city drain; it's not
attached to the city plumbing. The Cink’s circulating water system saves
water use by more than 90% and filters out all solid clay, circulating
only water for rinsing and cleaning. The replaceable filters are the
filter bag (part#7CK620) & the 1 micron filter cartridge
(part#7CK631). The Cink captures heavy clay material in one easy
"roll-away" unit. The Cink features the "clay catcher
system" that makes clean up a snap and includes a faucet and unique
spray nozzle.
It requires 110-115 volt AC electrical outlet, and is built with a 15 amp
circuit breaker and GFI plug. The Cink has an automatic sensor to pump
water when the faucet valve is opened and the pump shuts off automatically
when the faucet valve is closed.
