Every Paragon kiln is ergonomically designed with you in mind so you get a continually reliable kiln that is easy to use. They offer many ceramic, pottery, and glass front loading kilns that make loading easy. All Paragon large top-loading kilns come standard with a patented Lite Lid system. You can lift the lid with two fingers. All of their digital kilns use controllers from Orton Ceramics because of the easy to read display and ease of programming. 

Paragon manufactures kilns that produce consistent, repeatable firings to eliminate wasted materials and time. Every element is designed with the heaviest gauge wire available for long element life. Further, the elements in every model are tuned to produce even heat distribution. We have found the digital controllers from Orton to be the most reliable in the industry. Paragon warranties the Orton Sentry 2.0 controller for 2-1/2 years. Every kiln must pass a 15-step quality control inspection before it is shipped to you. 

Caldera kilns (C-260-CA, C-260-CA-S)

The Caldera kilns feature 2-1/2"“ insulating refractory firebricks, dropped, recessed brick grooves, louvered switch box, heavy duty wiring, 4- 2”x2” firebricks included with each kiln, to be placed under the kiln during firing. The Caldera Test kiln comes with a digital 3 key controller. The Caldera –S comes with an infinite switch and pyrometer. The bead collar adds 4-1/2" of height and still fires to 2000 F/1093 C, the collar has a 7-1/2" x 2” door for annealing glass beads.

Dragon kiln (C-260-DRG)

The Dragon kiln is an economical front-loading electric kiln with power to spare. The Dragon will fit thru a 34” door if kiln door handles and element cover are removed. Standard features include: 4” walls (3” brick and 1” fiber block) top and door, 4-1/2" firebrick floor, Sentry 2.0 controller (1 zone), mercury relays, industrial gauge elements, and (2) 1” spy holes. Price does not include the stand.

FUSION 10 KILN (C-260-FSN-10)

Paragon’s new Fusion series digital hot glass kilns are packed with exciting features. The Fusion-series lid elements use a new element groove that eliminates element pins. The element coils are wider than the groove opening, so the elements stay in place without pins. A heavy galvanized steel base covers the reversible brick bottom completely. It folds up under the stainless case on all sides to strengthen the firing chamber. This is one more assurance that your Paragon kiln is built to last. The digital Sentry Xpress 3 key controller comes standard on all Fusion-series kilns. Control both heating and cooling with simple 3-key operation.

QUICKFIRE 6 KILN (c-260-QF6)

Viking kilns (C-260-V24, C-260-V28)

The Viking kilns are designed for heavy use and high temperatures. Each draws 60 amps (240V/1Ph version) for plenty of power and long element life. Both feature the 12 key Sentry 2.0 controller, easy-access switch box and mercury relays and a lite-lid spring balanced hinge system. The Viking 24 is a 10 sided kiln with 3” walls and single section construction. The Viking 28 is a 12 sided kiln with 3” walls and and sectional construction for easy clearance through doorways. The top row of no element grooves makes it much less susceptible to damage during loading and unloading.

TnF Series kilns (C-260-T233, C-260-T243, C-260-T273, C-260-T823)

These TnF series kilns are cone 10-rated, 3” brick models. All feature the Sentry 2.0 controller, easy-access hinged switch box, Lock-in Lid support, and Lite-lid spring balanced hinge. All TnF kilns listed below are constructed in one-piece except the TnF-27-3 which features sectional construction with twist-lock spring latches to hold the collars securely and a 2” top ring of solid fire brick with no element grooves for added durability.

SC-2 WITH BEAD DOOR

The Paragon SC-2 Silver & Glass Kiln with Bead Door and Window fires silver clay, decals, china paint, enameling, and glass in minutes up to 2000°F and plugs into a standard 120 volt household outlet. It fires automatically at the rate and temperature you enter. A large, brightly lit display prompts for firing rate, temperature and hold time. Use the hold feature to automatically soak any type of clay silver to its recommended time.

The 6-1/2” wide bead door includes a brushed stainless steel mandrel holder. The 1” x 3” window is beveled for a wide view of the kiln interior. The high-tech ceramic fiber firing chamber is wrapped in a steel inner case. The outer steel case remains cool due to the layer of air between it and the inner case. In addition, the case is slotted for air circulation. Electrical components, located in the base, stay cool even at extended hold times. The fast-firing element is embedded in the firing chamber shell. The SC-2 heats from the sides and back. The top vent comes complete with a tapered plug for lost wax casting. Each SC-2 includes a 1/4” thick ceramic fiber shelf.
